Lot Clearing
Overgrown land is hard to use. We clear trees, brush and growth from homes, businesses and empty lots across northern New Jersey so the ground is level and ready for what comes next.
Clearing for a new project
A new house, a garage, a driveway or a pool all start with clear ground. We take out the trees and brush and take care of stumps so the site is ready for the next crew.
Taking back an overgrown property
Brush and small trees take over fast when land sits. We clear the growth so you can use your property again, see your boundaries and get the sunlight back.
Getting the ground level
Rough ground is hard to build on and hard to mow. Getting the ground level is part of how we finish a clearing job.

In New Jersey
Clearing land and town approval
In New Jersey, taking out a lot of trees can need approval from your town, and some towns also look at steep slopes and water. Springfield's ordinance, for example, can deny a removal on a slope if it would send extra runoff onto neighbors. Check with your town before the work starts, and we will talk it through at your estimate.

Questions
Frequently asked questions
- How much does lot clearing cost?
- It depends on the size of the lot, how many trees and how much brush there is, and how hard it is to reach. A wooded lot with large trees is a bigger job than a lot that is mostly brush and small saplings. Call or use the form for a free estimate.
- Do you remove the stumps too?
- Stump grinding and stump removal are part of what we do. Ask us to include them in your estimate. Clearing the stumps along with the trees means the ground is ready for whatever comes next, instead of needing a second visit.
- Do I need a permit to clear my land?
- It can depend on your town and on how much you are clearing. Many New Jersey towns require a permit to remove trees, and building or excavation plans can add more paperwork. Check with your town before we start, and tell us what you find so we can plan around it.
- Can you clear a lot for building?
- Yes. Lot clearing is a common first step for a new house, an addition or a driveway. Tell us your plans when you request your estimate. Knowing where the house, driveway or addition will go helps us clear the right area and leave any trees you want to keep.
