Commercial & Industrial Only

Snow Removal

Plowing, salting and sidewalk clearing for commercial and industrial properties of any size. We go out at as little as a quarter inch, work through the night, and offer seasonal contracts or per-push service. We do not plow homes or residential driveways.

Out at a quarter inch

We don't wait for the snow to pile up. Whether it's a quarter inch or an inch, we head out as soon as it starts sticking, so your lot, entrances and walkways don't turn into packed snow and ice before the morning rush.

Plowing, salting and sidewalks

Plow trucks and skid steers clear the parking lot and drive lanes. Salters treat the pavement after we plow. Dingo mini skid steers clear the sidewalks, so the walks in front of your doors get done along with the lot.

Overnight, when storms hit

Snow doesn't keep business hours, and neither do we. We work overnight during storms so your property is clear for employees, deliveries and customers when you open.

Seasonal contract or per push

Some properties want one set plan for the whole winter. Others want to pay only when it snows. We offer both. Howard walks your lot first and gives you a clear price for either option before the season starts.

Commercial and industrial only

Snow removal is for business properties only: retail lots, office buildings, warehouses, industrial sites and other commercial property. There is no minimum lot size. We do not take residential driveways or homes.

Why Tico's

What you get with us

A quarter inch is enough

We go out at as little as a quarter inch of snow. Starting early keeps snow from packing down under tires and freezing into ice on your lot. It also means a light storm gets handled instead of waiting to see if it grows.

Overnight work

Most storms come in overnight, and that is when we work. Plow trucks and skid steers clear the lot while it is empty, then the salters follow. Your staff and customers arrive to open drive lanes and treated pavement.

Any size lot

There is no minimum lot size. A small office lot gets the same attention as a large industrial yard. The plows take the open areas and the Dingo mini skid steers clear the sidewalks in front of your doors.

Family-owned since 2003

Snow service is a relationship that runs every winter, December through April. You deal with a family business, not a dispatcher in another state. When the forecast changes at night, you have a local number to call.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Do you plow residential driveways?
No. Snow removal is commercial and industrial only. We plow, salt and clear sidewalks for business properties such as retail lots, offices, warehouses and industrial sites. We do not take homes or residential driveways, anywhere.
How much snow has to fall before you come out?
Very little. We go out at as little as a quarter inch. A quarter inch or an inch, we head out as soon as it starts sticking instead of waiting for it to pile up. Clearing early keeps snow from getting packed down into ice under cars and foot traffic.
Do you salt and clear sidewalks too?
Yes. We have 3 salters to treat the lot after plowing, and Dingo mini skid steers made for clearing sidewalks. The walks in front of your entrances get cleared along with the parking lot, so you don't need a second company for them.
Do you offer a seasonal contract or per-push pricing?
Both. A seasonal contract sets one plan for the whole winter. Per push means you pay each time we plow. Howard walks your lot first, then gives you a clear price for the option you want before the season starts. We don't list prices online because every lot is different.
Do you work overnight?
Yes. We work through the night during storms, so your lot, drive lanes and sidewalks are clear when your employees and customers arrive in the morning.
Can you handle a big lot?
Yes. Our fleet is 4 plow trucks, 2 skid steers, Dingo mini skid steers for sidewalks and 3 salters. Our largest snow job so far has been a national big-box retail site, and the same crew handles smaller business lots too.
Is there a minimum lot size?
No. There is no minimum size. If the property is commercial or industrial, small or large, we'll walk it and give you a free estimate.
When is snow season?
Snow season: December through April. You can start your free estimate any time of year. Walking the lot before the first storm means your plan is set and your property is on the route when the snow starts.
What areas do you plow?
The same area we serve for tree work. Serving Morris, Essex, Passaic, Sussex, Warren, Somerset and Middlesex counties, plus Springfield in Union County, New Jersey. Commercial and industrial properties only.
